Dave & Adam’s is extremely excited to bring former Buffalo Sabres Clint Malarchuk & Don Edwards back to Buffalo for an autograph signing!
Drafted 74th overall in the 1981 NHL Draft by the Quebec Nordiques, Malarchuk played 4 seasons for the Buffalo Sabres from 1988-1992. In addition to playing for the Buffalo Sabres & Quebec Nordiques, Malarchuk played for the Washington Capitals and in the IHL for the Las Vegas Thunder.
Malarchuk is known for surviving a life-threatening injury when a player’s skate made contact with his neck during a collision in the crease.
Malarchuk’s post playing career has seen him serve as a head coach in the IHL, goaltending coach/consultant in the NHL and speaker/mental health advocate.
Drafted 89th overall in the 1975 NHL Draft by the Buffalo Sabres, Edwards spent 6 of his 10 year career playing for the Sabres posting a record of 156-83-61 in the Blue & Gold. Edwards was a two time All-Star playing in the 1980 & 1982 NHL All-Star Games. Edwards along with Bob Sauve teamed up to win the Vezina Trophy in 1980 which is awarded annually to the National Hockey League’s top goaltender.
