Prerelease is your players’ first opportunity to get their hands on the newest Magic: The Gathering release and explore what the set has to offer. Prerelease Packs contain everything a player needs to be guided through deck building and begin facing off in epic one-on-one matches.
Dave & Adam’s is hosting a Magic the Gathering: The HObbit Prerelease Tournament on Saturday, August 8th.
Registration and deckbuilding start at Noon!
The event will be three rounds of Swiss pairings and cost only $24.95!
Space is limited to 30 players – participation grants you 1 prerelease kit as well as pack and promo event prizing based on record.
Each Prerelease Kit Contains the Following:
- 6 Magic: The Gathering® | The Hobbit Play Boosters
Each Play Booster contains 14 Magic: The Gathering cards- May contain these cards: HOB 1-248
- 1–3 cards of rarity rare or higher (2: 26%; 3: 2%)
- 3–5 uncommon cards
- 7–9 common cards
- 1 land card
- 1 card of any rarity is traditional foil
- Foil borderless mythic rare in <1% of boosters
- Traditional foil land replaces a land in 20% of boosters
- 1 traditional foil rare/mythic rare card
- Spindown™ life counter
