  • Jeremy says:

Can I have a picture with him while having my glove signed?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Jeremy,
While you won’t be able to get a picture with Cal while he is signing your item, each autograph ticket entitles the holder to take a photo with Cal with their own camera. What we have heard he usually does is signs for a number of people and then takes individual pictures with them.

We hope this clears things up for you.

      Thank you

      • Corey says:

Can my children/wife walk through the line w/ me?

        • mm DACW Staff says:

Hello Corey yes your wife and children can be in line with you.

      • Shane says:

He will take pics with everyone. It’s what he calls the Cal Ripken experience. He does it at every signing his handler is awesome. Cal is a class act ive been to many of his signings

      • Kenny says:

I’ve done many Cal signings and they are all the same. He will sign about 10-15 people’s items then will stand up and take individual pics with those people. He will then sit and sign more and repeat.

  • Kevin says:

Prices are little expensive for this area, don’t. you think. ?? WOW

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hello Kevin,
We do try and keep our signings as affordable as possible and feel that we have done so with this signing. For example, here is a link to autograph ticket prices for Cal at the upcoming National Sports Collectors Convention taking place in Chicago at the end of July. You will see that we are priced $50, $60 and even $90 cheaper at the ticket levels.

      http://tristarproductions.com/National/tickets.html

      Thank you

      • Kenny says:

Cal is an expensive graph but your prices are actually quite low for him.

  • Jack says:

If I pay for an inscription ticket will he sign his full name?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Jack,
Cal will sign his name when you purchase the autograph ticket. The inscription ticket is if you want him to add something else. For example “Ironman” or “Hall of Fame”. Hope this clears things up for you.

      • Jack says:

So he will NOT sign his full name?

        • mm DACW Staff says:

          Hi Jack,
We can’t control how Cal signs his name nor can w guarantee by purchasing an inscription ticket that he would sign his full name. That would be up to Cal himself.

        • Kenny says:

They can’t make a guarantee but he usually will sign his full name upon request

  • Bill says:

Is drop off available for this signing? I definitely want something but will be out of town that week. Thanks!

    • mm DACW Staff says:

Hey Bill, please email [email protected] and we will see if we can work something out for you.

  • Tom says:

Out of curiosity, what category would a McFarlane base fall under? Thanks.

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Tom,
That would fall under the Oversized Flats ticket.

  • Cal says:

What is considered to be an oversized flat? Would the smaller flat be included or would I have to buy that separately and bring it with me

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Cal,
An oversized flat is anything larger than an 11×14. For the smaller flat, we will provide an 8×10 photo for you if you do not have anything to sign.

      • Cal says:

        Is a base considered equipment

        • mm DACW Staff says:

Yes, a base would be considered equipment.

  • Chad says:

If I purchase a ticket for a signed bat am I going to get a signed bat …..or do I have to go out and buy a bat and bring it….
Are there going to be bats there at the signing?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Chad,
No, the ticket is for the autograph only…you would need to bring your own bat to be signed. We currently do not have bats available for purchase but are looking at bringing some in time for the signing.

  • Alex says:

Will there be a certificate of authenticity given for the signing.

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hey Alex,
Yes, just like our other signings we will provide a Dave & Adam’s hologram sticker for your signed item.

  • Joe says:

Thanks for the online option!! Is online buying going to be a new option going forward for all signings or case by case with the signers??

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hey Joe,
Yes, we intend to use the online ticketing system going forward.

      Thank you

  • Chris says:

Just one quick question.. for hockey autograph sessions… you have pucks available to be signed… Will you have baseballs available as well??

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hey Chris,
Sorry we will not be providing baseballs but we will provide an 8×10 photo for you at the base ticket price.

  • Skip says:

I have a Bradford Exchange Limited Edition 9″ plate. One, will he sign this and two, what category would this fall under?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hey Skip,
Yes he would sign that and it would fall under the “Caps & Equipment” price tier.

  • Matt tremb5 says:

I noticed when I purchased my ticket it did not give me a number or a time to show up like the Darryl Strawberry ticket did. It just says (starts at 12). What is the latest time i can show up? I work till noon that day

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Matt,
The signing is broken up into different times to prevent too much of a line. For example, there is a 12-12:30 time slot then a 12:30-1:00 and so on. If your ticket says 12pm then that is the time you should arrive. If you work until noon that isn’t a problem, you can still come after the time on your ticket.

  • Mary beth Phillips says:

I have a 24 x32 poster to have signed a d a stratomatic card what are these considered .. want to get tickets asap

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Mary Beth,
The poster would fall under the Oversized Flats ticket price and the Stratomatic Card would fall under the basic flats ticket price.

      Thank you!

  • Mary beth Phillips says:

So what would be the inscription ticket

    • mm DACW Staff says:

An inscription ticket would be purchased if you wanted to have him add something like “Hall of Fame” or “Ironman”.

  • Joe says:

Is there any charge to have it personalized upon request i.e To Joe- ??

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Joe,
Yes, that would require an inscription ticket.

  • Dan says:

Will Cal sign multiple inscriptions on one item if I purchase multiple inscription tickets?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hey Dan,
Yes, as long as you have an inscription ticket per inscription he will.

  • Jeremy says:

Will I be able to purchase ticket the week of the event? I have a schedule conflict I’m trying to resolve and do not want to purchase only to not be able to make it.

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Jeremy,
First off, please note that there is a new date for the signing. The new date is Sunday, September 24th. As for purchasing the week of the event, we can not guarantee that tickets will still be available at that time. We do recommend purchasing your tickets in advance.

  • Dennis Paul says:

Would it be possible to have him sign “Ironman” and then the number of his consecutive games played, I don’t remember, like “2631” .. I am asking because 1). have a very special commemorative ball, which I’d like signed “Cal Ripken Jr. Ironman 2631… Do I need another Inscription ticket for four numerals? Please say no, but, if I had to, I will…Could you tell me what his final total in his streak was? I think youse guys are doing a fine job…

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Dennis,
Yes, having Cal inscribe both Ironman and the consecutive game number (2632 consecutive games) are considered separate inscriptions and would each require an inscription ticket.

  • Brandon says:

I will not be able to make it on the new date but have already purchased my ticket. Is it possible to get a refund?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Brandon,
Sorry to hear that. Yes, you can contact the ticketing site Showclix regarding a refund. Here is a link for you:

      https://www.showclix.com/contact

  • Mike says:

What would I have to pay if I just wanted to take a picture with Cal?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

Sorry Mike that isn’t an option.

  • Chris says:

I will be in the thousand islands for the new cal signing date but already bought my ticket and photo to be signed.. is there any chance that I can bring up my photo and drop it off to be signed and pick it up later that week?? It would be great if I could as I was really looking forward to this event.. thank you

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Chris,
We should be able to facilitate this for you. Please email [email protected] to discuss this further.

      Thank you

      • Chris says:

I have emailed the above email twice and still haven’t heard a reply in almost two weeks.. is there anyway else that I could find the answer to being able to drop off my photo?

        • mm DACW Staff says:

Hi Chris I apologize for any inconvenience please email our Williamsville store directly at [email protected]. Thank you.

  • Jackie says:

Hello- I bought the bat / jersey option. I do have a jersey for him to sign. So- I have been waiting to meet this man since the 90’s. I see where we will be able to take pictures with our own cameras, will I be able to show him some pictures too. My pug was named after him “Ripken”. My ticket says 12-2pm. I am guaranteed a spot since I purchased a ticket correct?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Jackie,
Correct, you will be able to take a picture with your camera. As for showing him some photos as long as it doesn’t affect the flow of the signing it should be ok. Lastly, we looked up your ticket and it has a 1PM start time printed on it so that is the time you should get in line for the signing. Thank you

  • Aric Deneke says:

Hi i want to get a rookie card signed by him. Is that an option? And if so what category is that in?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

Absolutely, it would fall under the Flats & Balls ticket option.

  • Tyler says:

Would a Baltimore Orioles team pennant be considered an oversized flat or as a piece of equipment?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

Hi Tyler a pennant would be under the oversized flats category. Thank you.

  • Tom Klostermann says:

Will we be able to chat with him for a minute or two ???

    • mm DACW Staff says:

Hi Tom yes while you are up there and Cal is signing you’ll be able to talk with him. What we have heard he usually does is signs for a number of people and then takes individual pictures with them.

  • S says:

If I get the bat & jersey option will I be able to get a bat and jersey signed

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hello,
No, if you wanted to get both a bat and a jersey signed you would need a ticket for each item.

  • Dan says:

I have a ticket to have a baseball bat signed by Cal. I purchased a black bat and was wondering if a silver signing pen will be available or should i bring one?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Dan,
Nice! Yes, we will have silver pens available for the signing. No need to bring one.

      See you at the signing!

  • Tom says:

Is it true that all the proceeds will be donated to the Hurricane Relief Funds?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

Hi Tom for our Eichel Collection signing tomorrow every dollar raised will be going towards Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

  • Justin says:

Any word on whether you will have bats available for purchase the day of the signing?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Justin,
Sorry, but we will not have bats available for purchase the day of the signing.

  • Bob says:

I’m not sure that the Inscription ticket is.

If I want a jersey signed will it be $160 or $210?

    Thanks,

    Bob

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Bob,
The inscription ticket is if you wanted Cal to write something in addition to his signature. For example: Ironman. If you are just having him sign your jersey then it would only require the jersey ticket for $159.95.

  • jason says:

just saw this kinda last minute..what items do you have for purchase to get Cal to sign…ie 11×14 pics, jerseys or whatever?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Jason,

Sorry, we do not have any oversized photos, bats or jerseys available for purchase.

  • John says:

Do we need to bring in the tickets or will there be a lost with our names on it? Or can we show you the email from showchic that says that I bought 2 tickets?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi John,

Please bring your tickets with you to the signing, it will help things run much smoother.

  • Joy says:

How much for signing just a baseball card? Couldn’t find that ticket?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Joy,

A baseball card would fall under the $109.95 flats and baseballs ticket level.

  • Dom says:

How much for just a baseball signing?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hi Dom,

That would be the $109.95 flats and baseballs ticket.

  • jason says:

any chance you will bring in anymore baseball HOFers? Cal was awesome, it was well run and the price fair! How about Brooks Robinson?

    • mm DACW Staff says:

      Hey Jason,
First off, thank you for the compliments, we appreciate it. Yes, we are always looking to bring in more guests to Western New York and are currently working on another MLB Hall of Famer. Stay tuned for more information!
